Xiaomi has finally launched its low-segment device Redmi 12 5G in India. The new device is quite similar to the Redmi Note 12R China variant except for the front camera. So let’s check out the complete specifications, price, and availability of Redmi 12 5G.
The Redmi 12 5G comes with an LCD display that supports 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, Adreno 613 GPU, up to 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB internal storage.
Redmi 12 5G is backed by a 5000mah battery that supports 18W fast charging. It runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box. The device has other features such as a Side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP53 rating for splash and dust resistance, single-speaker setup, 3.5mm headphone jack, IR blaster, dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, etc.
Redmi 12 5G is launched in India with three storage options. The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will cost you Rs 10,999, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant priced at 12,499, and the 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage option is released at Rs 14,499. It will be available via Mi.com, Amazon India, and retail stores across India from August 4th.
